Meet Michelle

Growing up I was always the curious daughter in the kitchen. I was inquisitive about everything mommy was doing. Coming home from school, I would dive into cookbooks amazed at all the delicious recipes within. And then it happened – at the age of ten, I had my chance to shine. She allowed me to try my hand at a few of the recipes but was always nearby to guide me and answer questions. Although I’d been baking for over 30 years, I never seriously considered turning my passion into a business.

Shelle's Sweet Sensations, LLC was born from a heartfelt journey. After my mother's passing in November 2019, I found inspiration in a simple act of love—baking her beloved Coca-Cola Cake for her Pastor. The words of both my mom’s Pastor and my own Pastor resonated deeply within, urging me to carry forth her legacy. With guidance from Brian Fitzpatrick of J330life, LLC, I transformed that inspiration into action, finalizing my business plan and officially launching Shelle’s Sweet Sensations, LLC just three months later.

Welcome to Shelle's Sweet Sensations, LLC! Here, I carry mommy’s spirit, passion, and love for baking in my heart with every treat I bake. I sense her presence every time I’m in the kitchen, but especially after placing a cake in the oven. She would always touch the pan and say "cook nice." I habitually carry forth that same tradition of hers. It just doesn't feel right if I don't. From delicious homemade cakes to delightful pies, my Signature (addictive) Oatmeal Bars, and even my scrumptious Snack Mix, each recipe is made from scratch and baked (or mixed) with love.

My customers tell me they can taste the “love” in everything they eat. What sets me apart from others is my menu selection. You’ll find the traditional Southern classics alongside my specialty and several unique cakes that will surely surprise you and delight your palate. I believe in excellence, so I ensure that everything not only tastes sensational, but also looks perfectly appealing too. If you have a special request or don't see something on my menu, just ask. I love a challenge and always eager to rise to the occasion to create something special for you to satisfy that sweet tooth!
